In the era of Nepotism and Big Budget Movies in Bollywood. We always love masala movies that have good dialogues, big stars, item songs, famous banner, etc in the race of these, we missed some of the finest Movies which are Gem in the  story but weak by their budget and buzz. These movies called "Flop movies" by their box office collections but critically some of these movies are really Gem and Superb and it needs more appreciations and box office collections but unfortunately, these movies never work well in the box office and we missed some brilliant cinema.

1.Yeh Saali Aashiqui

Yeh saali Aashiqui tops the list of underrated movies of last year. It has an intense, gripping, and strong story, Yeh Saali Aashiqui grabs your attention and holds it throughout. It is the debut movie of actor Vardhan Puri (grandson of legend Amrish puri) who acted his role perfectly. And the lead actress Shivaleeka is very fabulous too. The plot is extremely different from other typical drama romance movie. The Music and background score is also very soothing and Melodious.

Despite being a film that did not perform well at the box office, it is surely a film that touches the heart. Yeh saali Aashiqui is a film that failed to steal the show before dropping the curtains.

 

2. Section 375

Section 375 is a bold courtroom drama movie that revolves around a director caught in a case of molesting costume designer assistant. This movie is absolutely a masterpiece in all aspects like acting, story, direction, screenplay, editing, etc everything is on the point. Subtle dialogues such as 'Justice is abstract and law is a fact', “We are not in the business of Justice, and we are in the business of Law, “says Akshaye Khanna in “Section 375”. This statement will reiterate in your mind a lot of times after having watched this “Astounding” movie.

Section 375 is a must-watch for all the movie lovers in India.

 

3. Notebook

Notebook is such an extraordinary, simple, and amazing movie. It is about the two-person who never has seen each other and the actor got to know about the girl through her diary and fall in love with her soul, not face and anything. The story is simple but the presentation is unique that makes the film different. Those kids from their school are also fun to watch. The love story is quite different from other movies nowadays. Cinematography is superb, beautifully portrayed in Kashmir and Srinagar. Lead actors did their job very impressively. Songs and background music will connect you in the whole movie.

Overall Notebook is good to watch. It is a full stress buster.

 

4. Mulk

Mulk is one of the movies that every Indian should watch. Hard-hitting and relevant, this film is all about the prejudices we cloud ourselves with when it comes to religion, communities, society, and perceptions. Prejudices that divide people, create mistrust, and cause hatred. 

Rishi Kapoor is the soul of the film, Taapsee Pannu is its heart. What a crackerjack of a performer she is. Apart from being absolutely stunning, her restraint in some of the most critical scenes of the movie is commendable. No excessive emotional rants, no melodrama, no inane scenes, this movie should be made compulsory for all to watch.

Mulk is such a kind of movie, which is necessary to watch for all.

 

5. Gone Kesh

Gone Kesh is a story of acceptance with bravery. A story of love, small sacrifices, thoughtfulness, and maturity. It has managed to cover a lot of the mental struggles of the character suffering alopecia and the family who totally supports that person. It shows that though the cruelty of the world, especially school/College would undermine the existence of a soul, the simple, supportive, non-taunting family is an island to exist. Ultimately, the brave acceptance of the main character is heartwarming.

Gone Kesh is a very simple and beautiful movie with a sensitive subject. All the actors acted very naturally. Watch it.
